Cindy J. Carraway

Cindy was born in New Orleans, but her family moved to Lafayette, Louisiana when she was very young. The daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Donald James, Cindy and her 2 brothers grew up in the heart of Cajun country where strong family values and traditions helped shape her character and work ethic…along with a lasting appreciation for Cajun cuisine.

After graduating from college, Cindy began her career in banking. After moving to Montgomery, Alabama, her focus on investments began to take root while working in equity research within the Trust Investment Division of a large regional bank. In this role, she compiled the approved equity list for statewide trust investment meetings and assisted in managing the bank’s proprietary money market fund. Cindy relocated to the Mississippi Gulf Coast in 1994 and continued to expand her knowledge and experience in the financial industry, joining a local investment advisory practice in 1994. She obtained her Series 24 General Securities Principal license, which allowed her to focus on compliance and the overall supervision of the practice in addition to supervising 5 satellite branch offices. Cindy subsequently shifted to the most meaningful part of her journey—working closely with clients in all aspects of their financial lives, delivering exceptional service and providing the peace of mind that comes from knowing their financial future is thoughtfully guided and cared for.

Cindy has completed numerous professional courses, certifications and licenses pertaining to her profession to include the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselorsm designation, Southern Trust School, and the following securities registrations: Series 6, 7, 24, 63, 66. She is involved in the Mississippi Gulf Coast Chamber of Commerce, Blood Cancer United, American Heart Association and other organizations which allow her the opportunity to give back to the community.

Cindy’s most notable trait is her compassion and genuine concern for the well-being of others. Based on integrity, her primary objective is to be her clients most trusted resource. Inherent in this relationship, Cindy always holds her clients’ best interest at the center of her practice.
